Deepa Joshi (Deepa Bhushan) is a professional singer based in India, who is
associated with Purple Music India. Deepa is from Defence background. She has been
singing professionally for several years and have done numerous stage and live
programs within defence organization /different social platforms. She acted in few stage
dramas & danced in the group performance. Presently, she besides singing is involved
with All India Radio New Delhi program for women ‘Aadha Akash’ as presenter. She

Deepa's music style is diverse, and she sings in several languages, including Hindi,
English, Kumaoni. She has a melodious voice and can sing various genres, such as
Bollywood, folk etc Deepa belongs to Lucknow and trained in music by her Guru ji
The Late Shri Vinod Chatterjee and completed her gradation in the subject Music.. She
sang Ghazal with Padmashree Mr Anup Jalota ji which was released in year 2021 by
Red Ribbon Music Label Mumbai. Her 02 Hindi video songs were also released in year
2022 by PadmaShree Ms Soma Ghosh and recently she was lead singer in the recently
released “Panchmukhi SundarKand’ under Red Ribbon Music Label at Famous Studio
Mumbai by Padmashree Mr Anup Jalota, Mr Arun Govil, renowned actor got famed as
Lord Rama in Ramayan TV series & member of BJP and Padmashree Mr Ahmed
Hussain, Padmashree Mr Mohammad Hussain (renowned Ghazal Singers from
Rajisthan State). During the month of Aug 2023 her two solo songs were released by T
series & red Ribbon Entertainment. Currently, two projects, one in Hindi & other one in
Kumaoni language are at planning stage and Purple Music India is looking forward for
budding actors with an aim to promote their art & passion.

Coming from a defence background, Deepa has been singing professionally for several years and has performed at numerous stage shows and live concerts across Defence organizations and various social and cultural platforms. She has also acted in stage dramas and participated in group dance performances, showcasing her versatile artistic expression.
Deepa’s musical style is diverse and soulful, covering multiple languages such as Hindi, English, and Kumaoni. With a melodious voice and strong classical foundation, she performs a wide range of genres — from Bollywood and folk to devotional and ghazal.
A native of Lucknow, Deepa was trained under her Guru Late Shri Vinod Chatterjee and holds a graduation degree in Music. She is also a registered member of the Indian Singers and Musicians Rights Association (ISAMRA), the apex body that protects the rights of performing artists in India.
Under her enterprise Purple Music India, Deepa has released several songs in Hindi and Kumaoni, which have been published by well-known music labels such as T-Series, Red Ribbon, Planet 9 Production, and A Plus Studio.
Recently, her Kumaoni song “O’ Re Shivani” was released and warmly received by listeners. Another Kumaoni song is scheduled for release shortly. Adding to the excitement, Deepa’s upcoming duet Bhajan on Lord Krishna and Lord Ram with Bhajan Samrat Padma Shri Anup Jalota ji will soon be launched under the banner of T-Series, promising a divine musical experience for her fans.
